Jeddah (UNA) – The Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ambassador Ibrahim Adam Musa, visited the headquarters of the Union of OIC News Agencies (UOIA) in Jeddah on Monday, where he was received by the Acting Director General of the Union, Mohammed bin Abdrabuh Al-Yami. During the visit, the Somali delegate was briefed on the vision of UOIA and its work plan for the coming years. The two sides also discussed aspects of cooperation and the role of the Union in supporting media institutions in Somalia to play their role in promoting development and stability. (End)
