Cairo (UNA) – The Director General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) member states, Professor Mohamed Bin Abd Rabbo, along with former Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang, and President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua, participated in the global launch ceremony of the Arabic version of the first volume of the book “China’s Governance under Xi Jinping,” on the sidelines of the high-level Global South Forum for Media and Think Tanks – the Arab-Chinese Partnership Conference, which was held in Cairo on May 13 and 14, 2026, with the participation of about 250 representatives from about 110 media outlets, think tanks, government institutions and companies from China and Arab countries, in addition to regional and international organizations.
The book presents Xi Jinping’s vision on governance, management and development issues, along with policies related to modernization and economic and social development in China. It is one of the most prominent publications that Beijing seeks to present in multiple languages to promote intellectual and cultural communication with various countries around the world.
