Jeddah (UNA) - The Ambassador of the Republic of Gambia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Omar Jibril Sala, visited the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries, today, Thursday, and was received by the Acting Director General of the Union, Mohammed Abdrabuh Al-Yami. The meeting reviewed the stages that the Union has gone through in covering the news of the OIC member states, the cultural relations between them, in addition to the issues of the Islamic world. It also reviewed the role of OIC in providing strategic media consultations to member states through representatives of the official national news agencies, in addition to presenting a number of courses scheduled to be held in the coming period.
