AlMalik: ISESCO is working to promote knowledge and scientific trends in the Islamic world

Rabat (UNA) - Dr. Salim bin Muhammad Al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), said: The Islamic civilization is the civilization of science in its most comprehensive range of jurisprudence, etiquette and nature. Without extremism or extremism, stressing that today we need to follow these lofty teachings that urge giving priority to boldness in proposing about every issue of our time, based on the firmness of our true belief. This came in his speech during the opening of the Forum on Maturidi Teachings and the Present, which was held by the Imam Maturidi International Center for Scientific Research in Uzbekistan, today, Wednesday (June 16, 2021), via visual communication technology. In his speech, Dr. Al-Malik pointed out that the thought of Imam Abu Mansour al-Maturidi is primarily a renewal thought, uttering heresies and superstitions, and marrying transmission with reason, highlighting the Creator’s honoring of man with the grace of knowledge, and that the efforts of ISESCO meet with the efforts of the Imam al-Maturidi Center, in order to promote cognitive orientations And scientific, which our Islamic world remains in dire need of its fruits and useful output. He noted the agreement of understanding signed between ISESCO and the Imam Maturidi Center, and that the organization meets with the center in its fields of competence, in its eager exploration of the jewel of development. The pillars of living among the people of humanity in peace without barriers or discrimination, and the Conference on Civilized Values ​​in the Prophet’s Biography, and the Conference on the Role of Religious Leaders in Times of Crisis. ISESCO Director General concluded his speech by calling for the realization of reason in all our issues, and benefiting from the enormous potential of modern technology, in a way that contributes to the prosperity of our Islamic world.
