The “Islamic Cooperation” renews its call on the international community to implement the United Nations resolutions on the anniversary of the Naksa

Jeddah (UNA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation recalls the anniversary of the Naksa, which falls on the fifth of June of each year, when Israel, the occupying power, carried out on this day in the year 1967 the military aggression and occupation of the Palestinian and Arab lands, the repercussions of which are still continuing from Through its crimes and policies of forced displacement, ethnic cleansing, colonial settlement, land confiscation, house demolitions, and denial of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The anniversary of the setback this year coincides with the escalation of the Israeli occupation in the pace of its crimes, aggression and systematic violations through the practice of organized state terrorism and crimes against humanity and the implementation of its brutal attacks against the Palestinian people, their land and sanctities, the policies of Judaizing the city of Jerusalem and changing its geographical and demographic character, and attempts to change the historical and legal status of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque , in flagrant violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations and its relevant resolutions.
As the Organization of Islamic Cooperation expresses its admiration and admiration for the steadfast Palestinian people and its support for their just struggle in all its forms, in order to defend their land and sanctities, it affirms that Israeli crimes do not fall under the statute of limitations, and that the policy of changing facts on the ground will not truly arise, will not gain legitimacy, and will not undermine The determination of the Palestinian people and their continuation in their just struggle towards achieving their aspirations and legitimate rights.
On this occasion, the organization also reaffirms the responsibility of the international community towards correcting this historical injustice imposed on the Palestinian people, by ending the Israeli colonial occupation and implementing the relevant United Nations resolutions in order to enable them to restore their legitimate rights, foremost of which are their right to return, self-determination, and the embodiment of residency. Its independent state is on the borders of June 1967, XNUMX AD, and its capital is Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
The organization also stresses the need for the international community to continue its political and legal efforts, uphold the rule of international law and international humanitarian law, and implement relevant international legitimacy resolutions that affirm the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
