Jeddah (UNA) - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding within the framework of cooperation between them in many issues of common concern. It was signed on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation by Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha, and on behalf of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs. In this context, the Secretary General praised the active role played by the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its member states. (I finish)
