The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns the terrorist attack on a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu

Jeddah (UNA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in deaths and injuries. In a statement today (a copy of which was received by the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA)), the Secretary-General of the Organization, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, affirmed the organization’s support and solidarity with Somalia in its fight against terrorism. He reiterated the organization’s firm position rejecting terrorist acts, violence and extremism in all their manifestations. Secretary-General Al-Othaimeen expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and the people and government of the Federal Republic of Somalia, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
