Ramallah (UNA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 456 new cases of the novel coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections in Palestine to 21935. The ministry indicated in a press statement that 358 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 13358, while the number of deaths reached 121. The ministry explained that the recovery rate reached 61.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 38.2%, and deaths reached 0.5% of the total infections recorded in Palestine. Regarding the health conditions of the infected, it indicated that 23 patients are being treated in intensive care units, including 5 patients connected to ventilators. (End) S.J./H.S.
