The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns the suicide attack in Bodo, Cameroon

Jeddah (INA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the suicide attack that took place on Monday evening (25 January 2016) in Bodou locality in northern Cameroon, which killed 32 people and wounded 84 others, and which was carried out by elements of the terrorist organization Bekoharam. In a statement of Islamic Cooperation today (January 26, 2016), the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Iyad Amin Madani, expressed his sincere condolences to the Government of Cameroon and his condolences to the families of the victims following this heinous incident, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured and affirming his solidarity with the Government of Cameroon in its fight against terrorism. . Madani renewed the principled position of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation against all forms of terrorism and extremism, which have become a great threat to all member states and to international peace and security, calling for the activation of the multinational joint task force established by the member states in the region to combat the terrorist activities of Koko Haram.
