Riyadh (UNA) The Council of Ministers approved the establishment of the Arab Federation of Internal Auditors, to be the first Arab federation concerned with the profession of internal auditing and its affiliates at the level of the Arab world.
Where the General Assembly of the Federation includes the chairmen of the boards of directors of associations and internal auditors’ bodies in each of Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Lebanon, and Sudan. Saudi Arabia represented by His Excellency Dr. Hossam Al-Anqari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors, and the permanent headquarters of the Federation in the Kingdom. The CEO of the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors, Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Shubaili, is responsible for the Secretary-General of the Federation.
His Excellency Dr. Al-Anqari raised his deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God preserve them - for approving the establishment and incorporation of the Arab Federation of Internal Auditors’ Associations, saying: “This generous approval comes as an extension To support the rational leadership of the oversight system and the internal auditing profession and its community locally, regionally and internationally, and in line with the pioneering and leadership role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in regional and international organizations.
It should be noted that the Arab Federation of Internal Auditors aims to consolidate the bonds of bonds between its affiliated member states, enhance aspects of cooperation between them within the framework of the profession, and develop internal auditing practices by raising awareness of its standards, techniques and methods of application.
