The occupation has arrested 8455 Palestinian citizens from the West Bank since the start of the aggression

Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) - The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Commission and the Prisoners’ Club said that the number of arrests rose after the seventh of last October to more than 8455 detainees.

They explained, in a statement issued by them today, Thursday, that the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 12 citizens from the West Bank, including a child and former detainees, from yesterday evening until Thursday morning.

The arrests were concentrated in Tulkarm Governorate, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the Ramallah, Hebron, and Jerusalem governorates.

During the arrest campaigns, the occupation forces continue to carry out widespread raids and abuse, and attacks against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes.

The arrests include those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
