Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs: The Zionist occupation seeks to plunge the region into an endless cycle of crises and conflicts

Jeddah (UNA/WAG) - The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, confirmed yesterday, Wednesday in Jeddah, that the “disgraceful actions and shameful practices” of the Zionist occupation towards neighboring countries are intended to plunge the region into an endless cycle of crises, conflicts and wars.

Attaf said, in his speech during the emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on “the continuing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and its attacks on the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” that these actions embody “a policy of escalation in which the Israeli settler occupation has adopted an approach, method, plan, and strategy towards neighboring countries to cover up the core.” The essence of the conflict in the region is to divert the attention of the international community from the ongoing war of extermination in the occupied Palestinian territories and to market the false image that no one believes anymore, which is the image of a defenseless entity, a besieged entity, and a victim entity in a hostile and hostile neighbourhood.”

He explained, saying: “Our emergency gathering is coming together to discuss the dangerous and accelerating developments taking place in the Middle East region, which are the developments that the Israeli settler occupation is trying to impose on the countries and peoples of the region as a new reality consisting of permanent tension, ongoing crisis, and ongoing conflict on more than one front and at more than one level.”

The minister pointed out that these “disgraceful actions and shameful practices” are intended to “push the region into an endless cycle of crises, conflicts and wars, proving beyond any room for doubt or interpretation that the Israeli settler occupation does not incline to peace and does not believe in the idea of peace or in the option of peace as a strategic option.” He believes in word and deed that his security and stability lies in the neither security nor stability of his neighbourhood, and that his enjoyment of security lies in depriving his neighbourhood of it, and he considers himself an exception to all the rules, regulations and provisions approved by the international community for peaceful, civilized and civilized coexistence.

Attaf recalled how the Zionist occupation met the victory of international justice for the Palestinian issue, by “perpetuating its crimes, officially adopting a decision to reject the establishment of a Palestinian state, and expanding the scope of wars to more than one destination and direction in the region: in Syria, in Yemen, in Lebanon, and finally in Iran.”

From this perspective, the minister adds, “Algeria renews its strongest and strongest condemnation of the blatant terrorist aggression against sister Iran, which claimed the life of the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, the martyr Ismail Haniyeh.”

Mr. Attaf highlighted that “the rights of peoples and their national issues are not eliminated by eliminating those who carry them or those who support them, nor are they buried with the burial of those who fell in their name and were martyred for their sake.” Rather, they are rights that will not be lost and issues that will not disappear as long as there is a people who believe in their right and legitimacy.” He expressed his sincerest condolences and sympathy to the Palestinian people in their great affliction and “to our sister Iran the most sincere expression of solidarity in the face of blatant terrorist aggression that calls for our denunciation, condemnation and denunciation.”

In view of the diplomatic efforts made to reduce the escalation, the Minister believes it is necessary to emphasize three main things. The first is that “these efforts to reduce the escalation must not focus on the side manifestations of the conflict and ignore the essence and core of the conflict.” In other words, the minister explains, “De-escalation must begin with stopping the war of annihilation raging in the occupied Palestinian territories, and in Gaza specifically.”

The second matter is that “these efforts to reduce the escalation must be directed, first and foremost, towards the aggressor and the main cause of the dangerous developments taking place in the region,” the minister says, considering that “the first and foremost is to restrain the usurping and arrogant Israeli occupier and force him to stop Its violations, transgressions and violations are countless in Palestine and in the rest of Palestine’s neighbourhood.”

While the third and final matter is that “these efforts to reduce escalation must go beyond the circumstantial factor and fall within a broader and longer-term scope,” justifying this by the fact that “achieving sustainable peace and lasting security in the region remains dependent on addressing the Palestinian issue and resolving it in accordance with the constants, references, and controls on which the group agreed.” International, by realizing the legitimate and legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is their inherent and inherent right to establish their independent and sovereign state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
