The organization's General Secretariat hosts a photographic exhibition on Jammu and Kashmir

(Jeddah/UNA) The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation hosted at its headquarters in Jeddah on Thursday,
August 8, 2024, a photo exhibition organized by the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Organization, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the abolition of the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir region by India.

In the speech he delivered on this occasion, the Secretary-General of the Organization, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, renewed the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s support for the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

For his part, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General to Jammu and Kashmir, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Yousef bin Muhammad Al-Dubaie, reviewed the efforts of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the endeavors it is making in defending the legitimate rights of the Kashmiri people.
