
Makkah (UNA) – His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, announced from the Emirate headquarters in Mina the success of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage in terms of security, health, and services, praise be to God.
His Highness extended his congratulations to the wise leadership - may God support them - saying: “On behalf of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, and on behalf of all Hajj workers, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to my master, the Crown Prince, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God support them with His glory and empowerment - for the distinguished performance of the operational plans that coincided with the faith-based journey of the Guests of God, and contributed, by the grace of God, to their performance of the Hajj rituals with security, ease and peace of mind.”
His Highness added: “Thanks go to my colleagues in the security, health and service sectors, as well as to the male and female volunteers who worked diligently and sincerely to make this great ritual a success, keeping in mind the honour God has bestowed upon them in serving the Guests of God, in obedience to God first and foremost, and in implementation of the directives of the rulers, may God protect them.
Many thanks to the guests of God who were our best partners in our success, through their commitment and adherence to the rules and regulations.”
His Highness concluded his remarks by stressing the need to immediately begin planning and arranging for next year's Hajj season, saying, "We reiterate that the Kingdom, its leadership, government, and people, are proud to serve the holy sites and their pilgrims, and we will immediately begin preparations for next year's Hajj. I ask God Almighty for success and guidance in word and deed."
