Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the territory of the Lebanese Republic, and its categorical rejection of the Israeli incursion into Lebanese territory and the attack on its sovereignty.
The Kingdom called on the international community to assume its responsibility in stopping this aggression and putting an end to Israeli military movements to expand into Lebanese territory.
She stressed the importance of protecting the sovereignty of Lebanese territory and the brotherly people of Lebanon in accordance with relevant international agreements, emphasizing in this regard the importance of adhering to the Taif Agreement in order to extend the sovereignty of the Lebanese state over all its territory, and adhering to the decisions of the Lebanese government to restrict weapons to the state and its legitimate institutions in order to ensure the return of security and stability to Lebanon and its brotherly people.
