Katara opens the exhibition of Palestinian heritage, cultural creations and products

Doha (UNA/QNA) - The activities of the exhibition of heritage and cultural creations and Palestinian products were launched yesterday, Thursday, on the southern façade of Katara, under the title “Our Heritage, Our Land, the Story of Our Resilience,” which will continue until the fourth of next May.

The annual exhibition is held in cooperation between the Katara Cultural Village Foundation and the Palestinian Embassy in the country, and is organized by Final Vision Event Management and Solutions Company.

The exhibition comes in its special edition this year in support of the creativity of our people in Palestine in general and in the Gaza Strip in particular, as its various activities enhance belonging to cultural identity and introduce new generations to the Palestinian heritage.

The exhibition opens its doors to the public daily from four in the afternoon until eleven in the evening, where all events, live shows and markets are held, which include a variety of food and sweets products.

The exhibition also includes traditional and ancient handicrafts and valuable symbolic heritage products, most notably the keffiyeh, embroidered clothes, bags and various other creations made by craftsmen who specially came from Palestine to display them.

This year, the exhibition is distinguished by special performances presented by the Gazan youth art group, Sol, which is considered one of the most prominent artistic groups in presence and revival of the Palestinian heritage and popular character in the Gaza Strip, where it presented international performances.
