Ruler of Sharjah directs support for publishing houses participating in the Sharjah Book Fair

Sharjah (UNA) – Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the UAE and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the allocation of AED 4.5 million to purchase the latest publications and books from publishing houses participating in the 1632th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair. The Sharjah Ruler’s Grant aims to provide Sharjah’s public and government libraries with various modern publications in all scientific, literary and cultural fields, Arab and foreign, and to update the knowledge content of libraries that constitute a primary reference for researchers and readers in the Emirate of Sharjah. The grant also contributes to supporting publishing makers from various Arab and foreign publishing houses participating in the exhibition this year, which reached 83 Arab and foreign publishers from XNUMX countries. The publishing houses offer a variety of cultural publications covering all fields, interests and age groups. (End)
