The first private library to encourage reading in Somalia since the civil war

Mogadishu (INA) – In a precedent, the first of its kind in Somalia, a group of young intellectuals launched the Efie Library project to instill a culture of reading and reading in the hearts of society, in an initiative that was greatly welcomed by the citizens, despite the security and economic challenges that the country suffers from. a nation that reads; The slogan of the initiative launched by young people to spread the spirit of reading among citizens in a country where illiteracy ranks highest in the Arab world, as the illiteracy rate reaches 60-70 percent as a result of the absence of stable systems, and the civil wars that have ravaged the country for about 25 years.
