The Saudi permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meets with his Syrian counterpart.

Jeddah (UNA) – The Saudi Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, received at his office at the delegation headquarters in the branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Makkah region in Jeddah Governorate, his counterpart, the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Nazir Muhammad Al-Qadri, who recently presented his credentials to the organization.

The meeting explored ways to strengthen cooperation between the permanent representatives to advance the organization and achieve its noble goals and objectives, and to develop joint Islamic action for the benefit of the peoples of the member states. The meeting also reviewed aspects of joint Islamic work between the two missions to promote the organization's goals and achieve prosperity, stability, and peace for the Islamic world.

For his part, Al-Qadri praised the Kingdom's stances towards Syria, which will remain a testament to its wise policies and leading role in promoting regional and international stability. He also commended the provision of humanitarian aid that ensures dignity and a decent life through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. Furthermore, he congratulated the Saudi government on the success of the Hajj season at all levels, noting that, thanks to God and the efforts of the wise leadership and relevant authorities, the Kingdom was able to provide exceptional services to the pilgrims, reflecting significant progress in organization and the services provided.
