Hebron (UNA/WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained dozens of citizens on Thursday during a raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Media activist Mohammed Awad told Wafa that the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, raided a number of citizens’ homes, searched them, and tampered with their contents, before detaining more than 30 citizens from the Awad family and transferring them to an occupation forces camp inside the “Karmei Tzur” settlement, which is built on citizens’ lands, south of the town.
These forces also intensified their repressive measures against the town's residents, and closed the only remaining road leading to the town with earth mounds, after having previously closed the rest of the town's entrances, and prevented citizens from leaving the town and reaching their workplaces.
