Jeddah (UNA) – The Consulate General of the Republic of Cameroon in Jeddah celebrated the 54th anniversary of the National Day on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in the presence of the Assistant Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in the Makkah region, Director of the Consular Affairs Department, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Qutb, along with a number of ambassadors, consuls, heads of accredited diplomatic missions, and the Cameroonian community in the Makkah region.
On this occasion, the Cameroonian Consul, His Excellency Ambassador Omar Nashari, delivered a speech in which he conveyed, on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cameroon, Paul Biya, thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their constant care for Cameroon, praising the depth of Cameroonian-Saudi diplomatic relations, and the two countries’ continuous efforts to enhance cooperation in various fields.
