Egypt condemns the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by two ministers and hundreds of Israeli extremists

Cairo (UNA/ASA) - The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by two Israeli ministers, members of the Israeli Knesset, and hundreds of Israeli settlers and extremists, and the raising of the Israeli flag inside it, under the protection of the Israeli police, and coinciding with the prevention of Palestinian worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Egypt affirmed, in a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today, Tuesday, that these irresponsible and provocative actions represent a violation of international law and the existing historical and legal situation in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and their continued repetition and frequency reflects a systematic policy being implemented on the ground, which calls for action to stop their manifestations. Immediately, and a commitment to maintaining the existing legal situation.
