Jeddah (UNA) – The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghidi, visited the Union of News Agencies (UNA) on Tuesday, where he was received by the Acting Director-General of the Union, Mohammed bin Abdrabuh Al-Yami. During the visit, Major General Al-Moghidi and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the Union’s activities and strategic vision in serving member states through the media, and highlighting the pure image of Islamic values and teachings. During the visit, the two sides discussed cooperation in areas of common interest, coordination in implementing initiatives related to the activities of the Islamic Coalition in member states, in addition to UNA’s work as a supporter and complement to the media and intellectual efforts of the Islamic Coalition in combating terrorism, and exposing the media propaganda of extremist groups.
