(3266) Afghans participate in a contest skilled in the Qur’an in Afghanistan

Kabul (INA) – 3266 memorizers of the Holy Qur’an participated in a competition organized in Afghanistan by the Holy Qur’an Education and Memorization Commission, in cooperation with the International Commission for the Memorization of the Qur’an of the Muslim World League. The skillful Qur’an competition included six branches: memorizing the entire Qur’an with the ten recitations, memorizing the entire Qur’an with al-Jazariya, memorizing the entire Qur’an with Riyadh al-Salihin, memorizing the entire Qur’an with the curiosities of memorization, memorizing the Qur’an in its entirety with the words of the Qur’an, and memorizing the Qur’an for young memorizers. A ceremony was held in honor of all the contestants, in which the participants praised the efforts of the International Commission in serving the Holy Qur’an worldwide, and talked about the virtues of memorizing and competing in the Qur’an. They urged the students to do more in memorizing and mastering the Qur’an and adhering to the good behavior and morals it came with (End).
