NUR-SULTAN (UNA) – Aizhan Yesmagambetova has been appointed head of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to Kazinform, Yesmagambetova was born in 1972 in the Almaty region and graduated from the Almaty State Medical University. In 1997-2004 she worked as an epidemiologist and headed the laboratory of highly infectious diseases at the Republic's Sanitary Epidemiological Center. (End)
