The Islamic Solidarity Fund signs seven grant agreements to support civil society organizations in the State of Palestine.

Jeddah (UNA) – On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Professor Mohammed bin Sulaiman Aba Al-Khail, Executive Director of the Islamic Solidarity Fund, witnessed via video conference the signing ceremony of seven financial grant agreements between the Fund and a number of Palestinian civil society organizations.

The signing ceremony was chaired by Minister Nasser Qatami, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Arab and Islamic Funds Affairs and Representative of the State of Palestine to the Permanent Council of the Fund, and attended by Professor Ahmed Ali Hannoun, Director of the Office of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Ramallah, along with the heads of the institutions benefiting from the Fund’s assistance approved in the sixty-eighth session of the Permanent Council.

This step comes as an extension of the Fund’s ongoing efforts to provide assistance to the Palestinian people. Palestine has a special priority in the direct support programs that the Fund has provided for fifty years, during which it has contributed to providing livelihood assistance and supporting social, educational and health institutions and bodies through the implementation of many social and humanitarian projects.
