UNRWA: 212 UN staff killed since Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip since early October

Jerusalem (UNA/WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that 212 UN employees were killed in the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip since the beginning of last October.

The Relief Agency said in a statement today that the United Nations institutions have been subjected to about 464 attacks since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, despite the presence of more than one and a half million displaced persons inside them, which led to the martyrdom of more than 563 Palestinians and the injury of about 1790, noting that 600 thousand children are out of school due to the Israeli aggression, indicating that the health and humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip are catastrophic, with the spread of infectious diseases and epidemics among the displaced Palestinians.
