A trade fair for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries in Kuwait next February

Jeddah (UNA) – The Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is organising a trade fair for the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) from 6 to 10 February. The exhibition is part of efforts to raise the level of intra-OIC trade to 25 percent by 2025. The ICDT, an affiliate of the OIC, said in a press release that more than 30 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition so far. The exhibition is a platform for businessmen, investors, trade development bodies and professional associations in the Islamic world to showcase their products and conclude trade deals and partnerships. Meetings of investment development bodies and representatives of the private sector in the OIC countries are held on the sidelines of the exhibition. (End) Z A/ H S
