Abuja (UNA) – On the sidelines of the extraordinary summit of heads of state and government of the Chad Basin countries held in Abuja, the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, met with Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum and the President of the Chadian Transitional Military Council, Mohamed Deby. The meeting discussed bilateral relations, and stressed the need to intensify efforts for security cooperation and border control, and to strengthen the fight against terrorism, illegal immigration and organized crime.
