Brunei is confident in Malaysia's ability to spread peace in the world

Kuala Lumpur (INA) – The Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, has expressed his confidence in Malaysia's ability to contribute to maintaining peace and security in the region and spreading them in the world, given its new status as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. A joint statement, issued after the conclusion of the 18th annual consultations between the two countries in the administrative capital of Malaysia, Putra Jaya, stated that the Sultan of Brunei congratulated Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak on this achievement, and the statement noted that Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah congratulated Najib on Malaysia's election as a non-permanent member of the Security Council.
