Tashkent (UNA) - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will pay an official visit to Italy from June 7 to 9, 2023, in response to the invitation of President Sergio Mattarella, President of the Republic of Italy.
The summit negotiations will be held in the capital, Rome, where the Uzbek president will meet his Italian counterpart and Giorgia Melloni, Prime Minister of Italy.
The two sides will review issues of developing practical cooperation and strengthening multidimensional relations between Uzbekistan and Italy.
On the other hand, the President of Uzbekistan will meet with the Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, Bisuy Donyoy.
The meeting is scheduled to take place with businessmen from Italy in Milan, where negotiations are taking place with the Governor of Lombardy.
