A Gulf conference recommends making the work environment an ideal and occupational health factor

Manama (INA) - The Sixth Gulf Conference on Ideal and Occupational Health recommended making the work environment one of the factors of ideal and occupational health. To protect workers and their safety and spread the concepts of a healthy life by disseminating knowledge and transforming it into a positive healthy behavior for the benefit of the worker, his family and those around him. The conference, which was held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, also recommended promoting health in the work environment, which is directly related to building trust, loyalty to the institution, happiness, and productivity. The conference appealed to the authorities and institutions related to the economy to support programs to promote health in workplaces in the public and private sectors, and to start integrating ideal and occupational health into educational curricula from the early school stages to become a habit and culture for future generations. More than 170 participants included officials, specialists and experts in the field of optimal health, business leaders, employees of the public and private sectors, and 40 business institutions from the public and private sectors. The conference was accompanied by an exhibition in which more than 14 exhibitors from training agencies, sports, health and nutrition centers and clubs participated. (End) Z.A
