The Ministry of Islamic Affairs completes the distribution of 1.9 million copies of the Holy Quran, a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to departing pilgrims.

Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has completed the distribution of 1.9 million copies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift of the Holy Qur’an, published by the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an in Madinah, in more than 80 international languages, to departing pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, through all air, land and sea ports in various regions of the Kingdom.
The distribution work was carried out according to an integrated operational and organizational plan, which included preparing the distribution sites in the various outlets, and providing human resources and logistical capabilities, which contributed to delivering the gift of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the pilgrims with ease and convenience, in accordance with the highest standards of organization and quality.
The ministry also allocated field teams from its staff working around the clock, which were distributed to air, land and sea ports, in addition to the pilgrim cities in various regions of the Kingdom, to supervise the distribution operations and follow up on their implementation, in order to ensure that the Qur’ans reach the guests of God in an easy and organized manner before they leave for their countries.
