A new law in Morocco to combat the phenomenon of cheating in school exams

Rabat (INA) - The House of Representatives (the first chamber) of the Moroccan Parliament has approved the first law to combat cheating in school exams. The new law stipulates penalties of imprisonment from two months to two years, along with a fine, against every student who cheats in exams, and against every citizen who cheats in matches to enter a government job. This law also stipulates a prison sentence from one year to 5 years, with a fine of about $5, against anyone who leaks exam or match topics or prepares answers and transmits them to the candidate. The Moroccan government is counting on the new law to address the growing phenomenon of cheating in matches and group exams, which affects the credibility of Moroccan educational certificates.
