Amman (INA) - The number of vehicles registered in Jordan reached 420 vehicles by the end of last January, according to statistics announced by the Jordanian Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department today (February 951, 27). The director of the department, Brigadier General Anad Rkibat, said in a press statement that the cumulative statistic includes vehicles of all types and categories. Rakibat pointed out that 2016 new vehicles entered the Licensing Department's records for the first time during the first month of this year, while the licenses of about 8759 vehicles were renewed during the same month. It is noteworthy that the total population of Jordan, according to the latest census whose final results were announced last week, amounted to 78250 people, of whom about 9.531.712 million are Jordanians.
