This raid comes at a time when the occupation continues its aggression against the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams camps. Last week, it announced the extension of military orders imposing closures on these camps until September 30, thus continuing its ongoing military aggression against them..

The new orders stipulate that entry into, remaining in, or exiting these areas is prohibited except with special permission from the occupation army, with the exception of its forces and the Israeli police..

The previous orders were scheduled to expire on July 31st, before being extended, amid the ongoing siege and the prevention of residents from returning to their homes, coinciding with widespread demolition and bulldozing operations and the forced displacement of tens of thousands of families..

It should be noted that the occupation army began its extensive aggression against the city and camp of Jenin on January 21, 2025, before later expanding it to include the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, amidst raids, bulldozing, demolition of homes and infrastructure, and the forced displacement of tens of thousands of families.

This simultaneous escalation in several camps comes as part of a systematic policy to tighten the siege and expand military operations, amid growing warnings of deteriorating humanitarian conditions in those areas..
