
Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) – Two Palestinians, one of them a school student, were killed and three others were wounded on Tuesday afternoon by settler gunfire in the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah..
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of student Aws Hamdi Al-Naasan, aged (14), and young man Marzouq Abu Naim, aged (32), and the injury of 3 people by live bullets, during an attack by settlers on Al-Mughair Boys School.
The ministry explained that with the martyrdom of Al-Na’san and Abu Na’im, the number of martyrs since this morning in the West Bank has risen to four, after the announcement of the martyrdom of the child Muhammad Majdi Al-Ja’bari (16 years old) who was run over by a settler’s vehicle in Hebron, and Mrs. Raja Fadl Bitawi (49 years old) who died from her injuries from the bullets of the occupation army in Jenin about two years ago.
It should be noted that the father of the martyred child, Aws, was killed by settlers in 2019.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation forces and settlers carried out a total of 1819 attacks during the past month of March, with 1322 attacks carried out by the occupation forces, while the settlers carried out 497 attacks..
The commission indicated that the attacks were mainly concentrated in Hebron Governorate with 321 attacks, followed by Nablus Governorate with 315 attacks, then Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate with 292 attacks, and Jerusalem Governorate with 203 attacks, in a clear indication of the intensity of the systematic targeting of these areas.
