
Ramallah (UNA/QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Education announced that the number of students who were martyred since October 5424, as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, reached 9193 students, while the number of injured students reached XNUMX students.
The Ministry of Education stated in a statement today that 255 teachers and administrators were martyred, 891 were injured in the Gaza Strip, and more than 73 were arrested in the West Bank.
She pointed out that 286 government schools and 65 affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) were bombed and vandalized in the Gaza Strip, which led to 111 of them being severely damaged and 40 completely destroyed. Also, 57 schools in the West Bank were stormed and vandalized, and 133 government schools were used as shelter centers in Gaza strip.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that 620 students in the Gaza Strip are still deprived of enrolling in their schools since the beginning of the aggression, while most of the students suffer from psychological trauma and face difficult health conditions.
Meanwhile, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today that a girl was killed by Israeli occupation bullets in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, after she was hit with a bullet to the head in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city of Khan Yunis.
Medical sources also announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 29.878, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October XNUMXth.
The sources added that the death toll rose to 70215, while thousands of victims remained under the rubble.
It indicated that the occupation committed 11 massacres in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, which led to the death of 96 citizens and the injury of 172 others.
