Abbas briefs the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on the situation in Palestine

Dhaka (INA) – The President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, met Thursday (February 2, 2017) with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina Wajed, in the capital, Dhaka, and briefed her on the situation in Palestine. Abbas reviewed the latest developments of the Palestinian cause, and the brutal Israeli occupation practices against the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities, as well as the latest developments and efforts exerted regionally and internationally to resume a serious and fruitful peace process. The meeting was attended by the Palestinian Foreign Minister, Dr. Riyad Al-Maliki, and the Acting Ambassador of Palestine to Bangladesh, Youssef Ramadan, and from the Bengali side, Foreign Minister Abu Al-Hassan Mahmoud Ali. After that, an expanded meeting was held, attended by a number of officials from the two countries, and the relations between Palestine and Bangladesh and ways of developing and developing them were discussed.
