Makkah Al-Mukarramah (UNA/SPA) – His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and General President of Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, commenced his duties in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and chaired a session of the Permanent Committee for Fatwas, in the presence of Their Excellencies the members of the Committee and its Secretary-General, as part of the Presidency’s work during the Hajj season.
The session discussed a number of legal topics and issues presented to the committee, within the framework of taking care to clarify legal rulings.
His Eminence’s direct involvement in his work in Makkah and his chairmanship of the meetings of the Permanent Committee for Fatwas come as an extension of the efforts of the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta’ in serving the guests of God and strengthening the message of the established fatwa during the Hajj season.
