Makkah (UNA/SPA) – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah affirmed that adherence to the Hajj permit enhances the security and safety of the pilgrims, enables them to perform their rituals with ease, comfort and peace of mind, and contributes to the smooth flow of movement.
The ministry explained that the permit contributes to efficient crowd management, balanced crowd movement, and raising the readiness of field services during Hajj, at the times, locations, and dates specified for the campaigns. It stressed that violating Hajj regulations and instructions exposes perpetrators to legal penalties and negatively impacts the security and safety of pilgrims and the efficiency of services, warning against unlicensed campaigns and misleading advertisements on social media.
The ministry indicated that coordination continues with Hajj affairs offices in various countries to enhance awareness of the regulatory procedures and ensure that guidance messages reach pilgrims in their countries before arrival, which supports their commitment to the regulations and contributes to organizing their journey from its earliest stages.
The ministry called on those wishing to perform Hajj to abide by the regulations and instructions, and to verify the existence of a Hajj permit before any booking or arrangement, stressing that “no Hajj without a permit” contributes to enhancing the security and safety of the pilgrims.
