Jeddah (UNA/SPA) - Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah made a phone call to the head of the Hajj, Umrah and Visit Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Ali Bayat, during which he assured him of the safety and smoothness of the pilgrims’ transportation plan in all its stages, starting from their departure from Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah, passing through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, and ending at the new Arar land port. This is in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, based on what was presented by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - regarding facilitating all the needs of Iranian pilgrims and providing them with all services until the conditions are ready for their safe return to their homeland and families.
Dr. Ali Bayat expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - for the care and attention provided to Iranian pilgrims throughout their stay in the Kingdom. He also commended the keenness and continuous follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah to facilitate their procedures and ensure their comfort throughout all stages of the journey.
It's worth noting that the first batch of Iranian pilgrims departed today, Sunday, as part of the implementation phases of the plan overseen by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which was monitored by a special operations room that provided care and services to the pilgrims until their departure.
