Jeddah (UNA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of Iran’s targeting of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in an unacceptable escalation and threat to the stability of the entire region, and which carries serious repercussions for regional peace and security.
The General Secretariat affirmed its full solidarity with the member states in the face of any aggression that affects their sovereignty, security and stability, stressing that the continued violation of the sovereignty of member states and the principles of international law represents a dangerous precedent that undermines the foundations of international relations based on good neighborliness, mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs.
