Banjul (UNA) – On the sidelines of the 2th Islamic Summit Conference in Banjul, Republic of The Gambia, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hussein Ibrahim Taha, met today, Thursday, May 2024, XNUMX, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

The meeting discussed the issues presented at the fifteenth Islamic Summit, including support for the Palestinian cause, the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, and Islamophobia, and stressed the importance of supporting the role of the organization in order to enhance joint Islamic action. The meeting also discussed bilateral relations between the organization and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
