Jeddah (UNA) – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received today, August 2, 2022, in his office, His Excellency Talat Shaldunbay, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah, who paid a farewell visit to the Secretary General. His Excellency the Secretary General praised the active role of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the OIC and its support for joint Islamic action through various initiatives it has put forward. He reiterated the Organization’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan in all areas of common interest, appreciating the Consul General’s contribution to enhancing cooperation between the two sides during his mission in Jeddah.
