Tunis (UNA) - The Tunisian Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (ATFI) announced the postponement of the 2022st session of the Tunisia Investment Forum, which it organizes every year in June, due to the exceptional health situation that Tunisia is experiencing, like other countries around the world. The Director General of the Agency, Abdelbasset Ghanmi, confirmed in a statement to the Tunis Africa News Agency (TAP) that the decision to postpone to XNUMX was based on a proactive vision represented in the difficulty of holding the forum on its usual date as a result of the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic and the changes that followed, including airport closures imposed in many countries and travel bans that prevent foreign delegations from participating in the forum's activities. The Tunisia Investment Forum is the most important promotional event and the most prominent event in the field of investment and business, and is firmly established on the global economic agenda of most investors and international economic groups. Through this economic event, the agency seeks to attract the largest number of investors, businessmen and decision-makers at the global level, in addition to an elite group of officials and actors in the field of investment from Tunisia, with the aim of presenting the differential advantages that support the competitiveness and attractiveness of Tunisia’s location within a forward-looking vision that supports belonging to global value chains and by opening the way for discussion on possible investment opportunities and by honoring foreign institutions that have contributed to achieving development in Tunisia.
