Riyadh (UNA) - Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the burning and desecration of a copy of the Holy Qur’an by extremists in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
The Secretary-General said: The continuation of these heinous acts and irresponsible behavior expresses extremism and hatred of religions, calling on the Kingdom of Denmark to take immediate action to hold extremists accountable in accordance with international laws, treaties and norms that protect and preserve religions.
