The Pakistan Scholars Council praises Saudi Arabia's efforts to evacuate citizens of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries from Sudan

Islamabad (UNA) - The Council of Pakistan Scholars praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in evacuating the citizens of the Kingdom and other countries from Sudan.

The council added in a statement that this major humanitarian operation comes in implementation of the directives of the rational Saudi leadership, in coordination and cooperation with all concerned and competent military and civil agencies.

The Council noted the comprehensive plan and integrated system of reception, transportation, nutrition, housing, medical care and preventive health examinations for all those evacuated from Sudan due to the current crisis, in coordination with embassies and official representations, as they were accommodated in the largest hotels in the city of Jeddah and provided with all services. According to the highest levels, with their accompanying families, women, the elderly and children.

He added: Free services were also provided to the people who were evacuated until they left their country, in coordination with their accredited embassies and consulates of their countries, which requested Saudi support and received support to the fullest, in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his faithful crown prince.

The Council affirmed that the Kingdom is present with its generosity, giving, and fruitful participation in the world, and it is at the forefront of countries supporting the beneficiaries when crises occur and during wars, emergencies, and disasters.

The Council noted the Kingdom's keenness to restore stability to Sudan, and its endeavors to promote peace, cease-fire, end the conflict, and communicate around the clock to mediate between the two parties to the conflict and search for immediate and comprehensive peaceful solutions to stop bloodshed and preserve a decent life for the brotherly Sudanese people.
