Mohammed Al-Harthi, Chairman of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, was awarded the Imtenan Award for Inspirational Personalities.

RIYADH (UNA) – Professor Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, President of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum, was awarded the “Imtenan” Award for Inspiring Personalities, during the Princess Sita bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work ceremony held today in Riyadh, in the presence of Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdullah, member of the Award’s Board of Trustees and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, Professor Dr. Fahd bin Hamad Al-Maghlouth, Secretary General of the Award, Prince Salman bin Mohammed bin Salman bin Mohammed bin Saud bin Faisal Al Saud, member of the Board of Trustees and member of the Executive Committee, and a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and national leaders.
In his speech following the ceremony, Al-Harthi emphasized that the award gains significance by bearing the name of Princess Seeta, may God have mercy on her soul. He added that if inspiration is one of the award’s criteria, “we draw inspiration for success, confidence, and will from the inspirer and sponsor of the vision, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who rode the crest of change with a brave heart, penetrating thought, and a passionate mind. He made the impossible possible, the difficult easy, and the distant close, with a wise vision that raised the bar for ambitions.”
The Princess Seeta Award is one of the most prominent national awards in the field of social work. This year, it honored 35 winners, both male and female, across several categories, celebrating unique initiatives and their social and national impact.
It's worth noting that Al-Harthi has extensive experience in print, visual, and digital media, having won several Arab and international awards, most notably the Gulf Excellence Award in 2002 and the Beirut Media Creativity Award in 2014.
He also held leadership positions in local and international media organizations, and contributed to launching projects and programs that strengthened the presence of Saudi media at the Arab and international levels.
