Riyadh (UNA/SPA) - The General Authority for Radio and Television signed 6 agreements in the fields of media training and joint cooperation with the General Authority for Real Estate, the Institute of Public Administration, the Kafala Program, the Heritage Foundation, the Sabq newspaper, and the Nabdha Company, which specializes in media production, on the sidelines of the second day of the Saudi Media Forum hosted by the capital, Riyadh.
The agreement with the General Authority for Real Estate aims to enable the media to access accurate data on the real estate market, provide specialized content that enhances the awareness of investors and consumers of the sector’s systems and legislation, and sheds light on real estate opportunities and challenges, which enhances investor confidence and contributes to developing the sector in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The joint cooperation agreement with the Institute of Public Administration stipulates the provision of specialized advisory services and the exchange of scientific and practical expertise in the field of specialization of each of them, in addition to granting the Radio and Television Corporation priority to provide live internal and external coverage of conferences, forums and events organized by the Institute of Public Administration.
The Authority’s agreement with the “Kafala Program” supports small and medium enterprises in the media sector, enhances means of cooperation to provide financing guarantees for the media sector, and highlights its role in the national economy through its contribution to providing new job opportunities and developing the less economically active governorates.
The agreement with the Heritage Foundation includes displaying its products via the Sima digital platform of the General Authority for Radio and Television to highlight the reliable Saudi national heritage and enhance awareness of the national heritage; so that it becomes part of people’s lives and a source of pride in their national identity and civilized culture, while the agreement concluded with Nabdha Company enables the creation of new investment opportunities in the digital media sector and support of local content by displaying Nabdha Company’s products via the Sima platform.
The second day’s activities also included the signing of a memorandum of understanding by King Abdulaziz University with Airports Holding Company, with the aim of building a partnership to train students in the field according to a methodology of exchanging knowledge and academic and professional experiences, in order to achieve excellence and innovation for both parties.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Media Forum and the Future of Media Exhibition are an exceptional and unprecedented event that combines creativity and technology to build fruitful media partnerships that enhance sustainable development, shape the future of media, and a global gathering that brings together media makers and leaders under one roof in the capital, Riyadh. On the sidelines of the event, the “Saudi Media Forum Award” will be distributed, which aims to develop media content, stimulate competition, and honor creators.
